Our Oak Platform Beds With Six Drawer Pedestal Bases can be used with any of our Softside Waterbeds or any other type of mattress. They can be used as a stand alone bed platform without a headboard or with your current headboard. You can also chose from one of our many matching oak headboards, too.

At 14 inches tall and used with a low profile foundation and Softside mattress, the total height is around 27 inches which is about the right height for most people. You can opt for a regular foundation to lift the mattress height another four and a half inches but that's getting pretty tall to climb into.

The Extreme Softside Waterbed Frame

Extreme Frame Specifications: The Extreme Heavy-Duty Bedframe Frame by W. Silver Products is made of high carbon re-manufactured railroad steel to provide extra strength and stability for your Softside Waterbed. It has a total of nine, glide equiped, steel legs and a two inch center support that provide the extra support needed for a waterbed and spreads the weight evenly over the floor. The Extreme can also be used with any mattress set to prevent the boxspring or foundation from sagging and causing your mattress to sag in the middle. Oversized headboard brackets will allow most any headboard to be attached to the frame and the frame height, 7 1/2 inches, is the same as a regular bed. Assembly is quick and easy with no tools required!

W. Silver Products is a family owned company located in El Passo, Texas. They own a steel mill that uses USA railroad track to make our Softside bedframes and they're the only bed frame company in the USA that owns their own steel mill ensuring quality control from design to the finished product.

Versaleg Bedlegs

Our environmentally friendly Versalegs are an innovative, inexpensive, modern alternative to the conventional metal bedframe and are now fabricated from 100% recycled materials!

Choose from 4 simple to assemble heights: 5", 7", or 10".  The base plate of the Versaleg System easily attaches to the bottom of your box spring or foundation using a power screwdriver and four screws per base plate. Then you simply screw the bed leg into the threaded area of the base plate.

The Versaleg Bedlegs are an ideal support system for softside waterbeds especially when using a conventional headboard with a footboard and siderails. King and Queen sets have twelve legs that easily install underneath the foundation of a Softside Waterbed and distributing weight evenly like our steel frames with nine legs. We stock them in three heights; 5", 7" and 10" with the 10" being the most popular. Most regular beds are on a 7" metal frame so the 10" height raises the bed by three inches..

MADE IN AMERICA

Our softside watermattresses are Made In America by US Watermattress from American Vinyl. They are cut to fit all of our US Wattermattress Softside Systems but can be used as replacement mattresses for other brands. We know they fit the Sensa Softsides that we sold previously but not the Vylanta Softsides that we had before that. They will fit other brands, too, but none with a shallow fill (less than 7 inches) or straight sides on the inside of the foam rails. They are designed to fit inside slanted foam rails that have a 3 inch wide top (A), 5 inch wide base (B) and 7 inch exterior height (C).
