Our bookcase headboards work great with any of our softside waterbeds and all regular mattresses. They are freestanding so all you do is put them behind your mattress and frame and you're done. No assembly required and you can also use them with our drawer pedestals as shown below.
We display nine Oak Headboards and three different Oak Bedroom Furniture Collections that are available in several finishes. There are three styles to choose from; traditional, mission and modern. Our Oak Bedroom Furniture is Made In America and built to last a lifetime from Northern Red Oak, a hardwood that's sustainable and comes with an excellent environmental record. We think it's the best Oak Bedroom Furniture that you can find.
We also offer 14" tall matching Oak Six Drawer Pedestals that provide organized storage space under the mattress plus they feature two cubby doors at the foot of the bed to maximize storage capacity. These drawers are functional and sturdy, too. They are so strong that will easily support the weight of a softside waterbed!

At first glance, some people think the King Venetian Pier Wall won't fit in their bedroom but most likely it will. 21" Tall X 19" Deep X 41" Wide A dual purpose piece of furniture, the Mission Creek Hope Chest looks good at the foot of any bed but also works well under a window. We keep ours at the foot of the bed at home and it's extremely handy for keeping all of our bedding near the bed. The fake drawer fronts are there just for looks and it's totally open on the inside to accommodate your bulky comforters. All four sides and the bottom are cedar lined and the top is a solid piece of one inch thick Red Oak. It's a sturdy piece of furniture and a good place to sit and put your shoes on!

Oak Platform Beds With Six Drawer Pedestal Bases |

Not to be confused with drawers for a hardside waterbed, these are actually platform beds with storage drawers that have a platform bed rail built in. Half inch sheets of oak plywood decking on top of the drawers, instead of slats, add strength and help distribute weight evenly. These drawer pedestals are designed to be used under any type of mattress and built more than sturdy enough to support a Softside Waterbed and its sleepers! Our Oak Platform Beds With Six Drawers can be used as a stand alone unit without a headboard, with your existing free standing headboard or choose one of our matching headboards. At 14 inches tall and used with a low profile foundation and Softside mattress, the total height is around 27 inches which is about the right height for most people. They're perfect for smaller bedrooms or maybe you just have a lot of stuff to store, either way, they can really dress up your bed and they have more storage space than most dressers without taking up any extra floor space. We stock our Platform Frame and Drawer sets in three styles and three finishes in both Eastern King (regular bed size) and Queen.
Assembly Instructions
Position the drawer bases in front of the headboard or wall. Note that the drawers that go towards the head are offset by 9 inches so they will allow the end drawer to clear a night stand when pulled out and drawers at the foot of the bed are only one inch from the end. Now is a good time to make sure the two drawers at the head will pull all the way out and check them again just before you put the decking on.
Fully extend the drawers at the foot of the bed on both sides and place the Cubby Door Kit in front of both sets of drawers. Make sure the door kit is in proper alignment with both bases and press down down on the top corners, as shown in the photo, to keep the corners level. Then secure the door kit from the inside of the compartment by screwing through the back of the drawer compartment and into the back of the door kit. Install the screws in the corners where the drawer casing meets the footboard starting at the bottom corner with one screw to anchor and insure the footboard and drawer stay in proper alignment and then placing one screw in the middle and then one at the top corner.
Install the three 24" deck boards by laying them on the lip on the inside of the platform bed rail. Start at the foot of the bed leaving a space at the head of the bed for the eight inch piece. Push both drawer sets in towards the decking on each side for a custom, snug fit. Install the spacer board to cover the space between the two drawer sets at the head of the bed by placing one screw through each corner coming in from the backside. Install the eight inch deck piece at the head and screw all deck boards down to the ledge on the platform frame with one screw in the corner of each piece. Optional: If using a headboard, you may want to install L brackets to anchor the headboard to the drawer pedestal to help keep it steady.
