Delivery and Installation Service

Some customers use our Delivery and Installation Service out of necessity, while others take advantage of it because it just makes life so much easier for them. Our service area extends out 300 miles or about a four hour drive from our store in Athens, Georgia. All deliveries are done on our own trucks. This means there will be no freight damage or missing items as can happen with online dealers shipping via conventional truck lines. We assemble all waterbeds completely, filling them and removing the air bubbles by "burping" the mattress. All you have to do is put your mattress pad, sheets and comforter on and go to sleep. You may have to adjust the water level again to suit your personal preference and "burp" the mattress later as needed. We remove all boxes and packing material and then answer any questions you may have. The average set up time upon our arrival is about two hours and depends on the amount of work involved and your water pressure. On futon installations we put the frame together, put the water proof futon mattress protector and the futon cover on (if you purchased them) and put the mattress on the frame. We remove the boxes and packing material, review the operation of the futon frame and then answer any questions you may have. We can usually do all of this in less than an hour after our arrival.

Local deliveries and installations are done by appointment and we will give you a one hour window for our arrival. For long distance deliveries, we normally just say we'll leave the store at 10:30 arriving at whatever the drive time takes us. We ask that you prepare for your delivery by moving vehicles to give us direct access to the best entry area and please remove your old bed and clear plenty of space for us to assemble your new one in the room. Please have the person in charge of the bed placement present in order for them to show us exactly where they want the bed to be. Secure your animals if you don't want them to escape the house while doors are open or if you have dogs that might bite. We do reserve the right to reschedule an appointment in case of any type of dangerous conditions or a family emergency. All of our service work is done by us; it's never contracted out to a second party. Our General Manager, Akin Miller, is responsible for all deliveries and installations. 6. Secure your animals for safety
7. Show us EXACTLY where you want your bed to go
8. Always be available in case we have any questions
9. Hold general questions until we finish or we are filling your bed
10. Please dispose of your old mattress
