Our decorator chose a wainscot look using gray for the larger, upper wall portion to make our GEORGIA WALL DECOR stand out. Most Georgia wall art and decor is RED AND BLACK so it really looks good on a gray wall. I like working with gray because our merchandise looks better on gray than on red or black. On the ceiling, I used a darker gray with black track lighting fixtures and a UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA CEILING FAN. I also used the lighter gray for our "BULLDOG BATHROOM" walls and black vinyl on the floor. You can scroll up to see photos of how the bathroom turned out. For the lower part of the wall, I had to have red as the accent color. The hardest part of the entire painting project was finding the "TRUE GEORGIA RED". Although Home Depot has their Glidden brand of officially licensed paints, I chose to use a special mix. "SPREAD THE RED!" Use white for the chair rail, base moulding and trim. It's an OFFICIAL GEORGIA COLOR too! I used black carpet in two of our GEORGIA ROOM vignettes because black goes with everything and you can put anything on it including our GEORGIA HOME FIELD RUG!
