FUTON MATTRESS AVAILIBILITY UPDATE JANUARY 1, 2024

All Fibre Processing and Otis Bed futon mattresses are in good supply in full size and ready for immediate pick up. They are all Made in America and we have had very few supply chain issues with either company. Sometimes we may sell out of a particular model but we can get those back in stock quickly. Futon Covers, Mattress Protectors and Otis Grip Strips are always heavily stocked, too.

Semona

1. For use with Bi-Fold Frame or Platform Bed. No need to specify use. Construction is the same.
2. 8” thickness (12” of overstuffed goods compressed to fit inside an 8” border).
3. Flip-able design. This is a ‘Dual Comfort’ futon mattress… one side is medium firm, the other side is firm.
4. 5” blend of 2# polyurethane foam, consisting of 2” of nested convoluted x-firm foam, and 3” of nested convoluted medium foam.

Grip Strips and Mattress Protectors, too!

GRIP STRIPS are just what the doctor ordered to effectively keep your Otis futon in place; keeps it from sliding down in the frame. IT REALLY DOES WORK!!! Since Otis Bed's futons are so plush and plump, customers who are not used to this in a futon may have initial troubles bending their futon or getting it to stay in place. TRY THESE, THEY ARE THE BEST GRIPPERS ON THE MARKET, HANDS DOWN…BECAUSE THEY WORK! These strips are designed so that the bottom of the strip adheres to the slats of the frame (so it doesn't move), and the top of the strip (made of foam) holds the futon by the resistance or friction created between the foam on the strip and the futon's fabric as they touch.

Otis Grip Strips $29.95 a pair

Peel the protective backing off of the strips and place as shown… on the seat deck where knees would be and on the back of the frame where shoulders would be.

Sticky side goes towards the futon frame and the foam side faces the futon mattress.

Applying the strips works best if you peel the strip as you unroll it along the length of the frame.

Then place the futon mattress on the frame and push into the futon mattress at the fold. If needed, lean into the crease with your knee.

We highly recommend our Futon Mattress Protectors for many reasons. They will protect your mattress if a drink gets spilled or a child or pet has an accident on it. You can launder a mattress protector but you can't wash a futon and once a smell gets down into the mattress, it's not coming out. A mattress protector will help keep your futon fresh and clean for years to come.

Our Futon Mattress Protectors are custom made from 100% stretch polyester to fit all of our 7 to 9 inch thick futon mattresses. They zip tightly all the way around the mattress and easily bend with it when folded. They're razor thin and quiet so once you put the cover over it you really don't know it's there.
